"Excellent pub in the heart of the city. Homemade beers, cider and whiskey. One of the few places in town where you feel welcome and are allowed to have drinks during dinner hour. Lots of vegetarian pizzas - try the Chateau with arugola or the Katsika with goat cheese. The vegan pizza is an absolutely delicious vegetable pie - totally worth it."

"The place has a beautiful view overlooking gardens and a stunning lake ..... the staff were extremely attentive and helpful and walked us through the menu..... As there were too many enticing choices on the menu I decided to go for the summer tasting menu .... the first course was an oscietre caviar with cucumber on a thin black currant infused jelly ..... it was a well balanced mixture of delicate flavors and very refreshing would definitely recommend it highly .... next came the crayfish in shellfish butter and carrot mouse ..... was also good but have had better ..... this was followed by the sea bass which was the star of the night .... it was just perfect ..... an absolute treat .... and finally before the cheese board came the veal from Lucerne which was the weakest dish of the evening and average at best .... the cheese board was outstanding and had a huge variety to select from ... all in all a good experience and a great location. Definitely worth coming and sitting outside and enjoying the view ...."

"I have visited this restaurant few times in the last few months and the food quality is great. Only tried a pizza and the garlic pasta several days times and realized the quality is great each time I come back. They offer some small garlic bread as a free appetizer and it is delicious. The garlic pasta was huge and just loved it. They have a patio on the outside and a big room in the inside. One of the waitress doesn’t look happy, doesn’t smile much but her job is great and that matters. I do recommend this place and trust me, the quality is better than some of those high quoted restaurants in known area’s"

"We have been coming to Illustrate Gambero for many years and always get very nice service and good food. Someone said they had to wait 2 hours? What did you do to upset them that much? The other night I had Osso Bucco and my partner had Penne alla Sicilian both excellent with a nice local pinot noir what's not to like? Ignore the naysayers and go enjoy a nice meal"

"After the pandemic, we are back again at this chinese restaurant in Lausanne, the best in town I would say. They have maintained the fine quality of their food. The peking duck was superb. Crispy skin and tender meat. The scallop dumpling was excellen, crispy and juicy. Service is always outstanding. Worth coming back here."
