"Newk?s is located on North St. with more than necessary parking. Besides fresh, tasty, and favorable food the restaurant is very clean. The staff without exception is helpful and friendly. Social distancing is maintain in the seating. During this visit it was observed that the customers are wearing masks. The Chicken and Bacon sandwich prepared on very enjoyable bread that is so similar to French Bread was most delicious. Ingredients used are definitely fresh. Decent size that was served with a small pasta salad. Lunch partner had a large very and nice salad. Drinks are obtained by the customer and at the present time refills are not allowed. The cups used for the drinks are a nice size however. The experience today along with enjoyable food makes this place one to enjoy for a decent meal in a very clean environment."

"I stopped into this place for the Calamari, it was served hot with lemon wedges, with a little salt added they were delicious. The marinara sauce was also a good accompaniment to the dish. 5* for the Calamari. I ordered the trio chicken parm, lasagna, fettuccine as an entree. The chicken parm and lasagna were doused in cheese which overpowered ever other aspect of the two dishes. The lasagna was rich with the meat sauce but was not really layered like I was expecting. 3* for the entree. I did not try the pizza, which did look good from what I could see from other diners. Overall a barely four star effort due to the entrees lacking depth and relying on copious amounts of cheese. Service was outstanding and everything was served in a timely manner. Every item was hot and right off the service line. This isn’t an old school Italian restaurant like you will find in a major city, but it will scratch the itch for several items- the calamari being one of them. The red sauce is really good and has a nice depth to it. The pizza also looked like a strong choice, with basic toppings only. No anchovies or green olives."

"The wine, the pizza and the vibe were amazing! The owners were super friendly! I accidentally left my credit card and when I wondered if they had it, they drove to my hotel to return it to me. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. 10/10 Will be back soon!"

"We have stopped by at Ocean Buffet twice now when passing through Nacogdoches. Both times we had a pleasant experience. They have a nice selection of dishes that you expect from a good Chinese buffet and the food tastes great! Both me and my husband and my child always find something to our liking. I personally love sushi and this place a nice variety, with raw fish and without. As a pleasant bonus, this place also boasts a hibachi grill. My stir fry was finger licking good. For children, they have pizza and French fries and chicken nuggets. My daughter also totally loves their desserts and a large variety of icecream flavours! I would recommend this place for anyone who loves Chinese food and sushi."

"We got on 16. July 2022 at 7:30 a.m. When we arrived there, we sat at a table near the bar. We started drinking water. My brother tried the Manhattan, it had Vermouth, Bourbon and not sure what else, but when it came into the glass, it literally smoked in the glass and came to $12-$13. I got the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp Appetizer, which was $19, which was garnished with about 5-6 shrimps with 4 pieces of garlic bread. The sauce, the shrimps and garlic bread were in had a kind of wine that really emphasizes the taste of the shrimps. It's been quite nice. My brother got the Lobster Bisque and it was definitely worth the price. It would probably be nice to go back just to enjoy the soup to be honest. We then had a main course of 8 ounces of Center Steak Filets, which came around 48 dollars each; I got it medium, and my brother got it medium, and it was one of the tenderest steaks I've ever tried in my life. Finally, to complete, even if we stayed a little past closing time, we ate a Luxardo Cheesecake, which was very well presented. My brother and I enjoyed it every minute. The atmosphere of the place disappeared with the sounds of stylish jazz you could take a special person. A great place to talk business for a 3rd date (to take it on a notch), or to get your wife in the mood. Our waitress was wonderful, had an exciting and positive mood and knew what she did. Because my brother and I work a lot, it is very hard for us to find time for vacation (he has PTO and I not), so we thought this was the best way to spend our time this year for the summer. It is definitely a beautiful experience and hopefully I can enjoy something similar again before I meet my heavenly creator. I want to take care of Fredonia Hotel and the Republic of Fredonia Steakhouse for a great night out of the house and for the time. I hope everyone has a blessed week."

"This is probably the best sushi I've found in the East Texas area. My grandson loves sushi and many have been tested. Creative and tasty combinations on the special menu. You can all be customized to add and remove. Make sure that building your own role from scratch is expensive here. I have found that it is better to easily adapt one of their stack rolls from you to restore a favorite from somewhere else. The bowls are also good. They're a little fat, but good in taste. The service is fast, and the personalities are much different than an rude manager we met and work at the cashier. Maybe because he had to cover the hosting station. Not terrible, but rude anyway. OVERALL this is place worth a try to see if they fit your taste profile. You stay on our current restaurant turn."

"What a fantastic little place to eat! The building is a kind of old railway warehouse very charming. They have a wide range of Italian foods. Our favorite was the lasagna thick and full of taste. This place becomes crazy at peak times, so prepare for a wait or go into a break."

"Such a great experience! We came at 7:00 on a Saturday night. It was very busy, but we sat in about 15 minutes. Server was very nice and inclined to our needs (refills on drinks, additional napkins, etc.). The food was fantastic. Great prices, large portion sizes."
