"We ordered a salad caprese today. It is explicitly in it: SALAT, TOMATEN, MOZZARELLA with homemade dressing. We get 2 large sliced tomatoes and a few pieces of mozzarella on them.... also the dressing was there. Nicely dressed, however, the salad was missing. When I called and said that my salad was missing, I got in answer that would be so with them... So the description is absolutely not correct and for 8.50 euros a freaky..."

At home I had decided both for my appetizers and for the main course, namely for the Pulpo a la Gallega and for the Calamares a la plancha . Not too small was my disappointment when I was announced on site that this time nothing would be: the Pulpo was completely out! This meant that not only these two dishes, but also the Brochettas de gambas y Ruhear or the Parillasa could not be ordered. So I had to book again; as an appetizer it should be the fish soup I liked, the Sopa de Pescado. According to the Italian serviceman, demand in the kitchen of Senora Guzman has not confirmed this. So I chose the soup at the price of EUR 9,50 and as the main dish for the Gambas a la plancha (EUR 19,50). My lover took the Sardinas a la grilla as an appetizer (EUR 6,50 and as the main dish of the tapa producers mixed for EUR 12,50. "With a group of six people we visited the room of the peasant (fortunate times past, never invade in Hunter's joy; for a normal Saturday night the house was full of breaks, but we had reserved gothic thanks in time. The menus came fast, but everything else took a long time; the peasant's room has been known for decades because of its grill or Swivelling, the food is correspondingly large and it is then necessary to adjust to waiting times. If you don't want to, you shouldn't be here this weekend. The peasantry also advertises on the Internet with local grill specialities and finest meat pieces from open beech fire, with beef pieces from the Argentinean anrus bark. The meat or even the Lyoner is prepared at a table-high, tiled large barbecue area and at two swivels. Especially since we were informed that the main dishes were prepared and served so late because we had to wait for our appetizers (and only their consumption). Bullshit! We have served salad plate, ribeye steak, pork comb, beef fillet, small peasant parrots (sweden, pork fillet, grilled Lyon spear); as additions to the main dishes we had roast potatoes with onions and green beans with garlic. Pils, Averna, Cola, Kir Royal, wheat beer, mineral water and espresso were drunk. Everything was fine for several exceptions, but not more. Steak and beef fillet were ordered and came to the table. The curved roast was a bit dry and the pork fillet from the small pork was deeper than with absolutely dead grills. The Lyon Speer, also part of the small pig, was carved correctly in some places; There was too much done by the good. Salad plates, roasted beans and green beans were all right. A beautiful table is just before the “Langenfeld”, we can get it. We sit well, have a look at the entire marketplace. The servicewoman wins signal: she saw us. The cards are already ready on the table, among others, asparagus dishes. We would find a lot of fine dishes here, but both decide for salad (all in me screams for SPARGEL!!! We want to be reasonable, early in the evening we want to go to dinner before the concert and it will soon be later. The happy staff comes and we order two dry wine choir. She gives the indication that we have the 0.5 l carafe. How to order € 7,50. My husband decides for tuna salad (eggs, olives, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes € 10.50. I choose the Tuscan bread salad (soaked bread, tomatoes, rocket, celery, peppers, olives, mint, onions, parmesan, garlic € 10.90. An open bread basket, covered with a plate and the cutlery on the top, is brought to us beforehand. I have the worst concerns: The filled baskets are paratic in the sun. But there is nix to mecker. The bread cubes should have been a bit stronger and crispy for my taste. I am surprised by the bright, modern room thanks to roof glazing. The toilets in the vault cellar are modern and perfect. Conclusion: Better than expected – happy again! And: We were so “good” – our planned dinner was much. A fresh and fine sandwich in the concert hall was perfect for the rest of the day."

We have not received solid and reliable personnel since the first lockdown. In January we made a cook in the kitchen, which we unfortunately had to release again in March. He often took up his service with delay and already alcoholized for him; Of course we can't need someone like that. If we had a reliable solid staff, we would continue as before; Unfortunately, we don't. Other gastronomy expands from one to two or even three, due to the lack of personnel, the number of their rest days per week, others open only in the evening and do so without lunch. These are not options for us; we go another way and hope that our guests will retain our loyalty even after the transition, even if they need to pick up their own food at the switch. We need to reduce the offer of food, but everything we offer is freshly cooked and also in the usual quality. You can only wish the Pitittus a warm happiness for the new business idea and the noble snack we also like to do. And of course we visit him alone to see how everything has become. Especially as a snack at the city border of Saarbrücken (150m further), France has to offer something very special to attract customers; for the Dogana as a Ristorante, the location question was quite unimportant. Food and drink: Today my wife FvD was; she therefore drank only one alcohol-free Erdinger wheat from the bottle (EUR 0.5l 4.20 and later an aperol sprayer (EUR 0.25). I drank as an appetizer a Limoncello for EUR 4,00, a small Pils (0,25l EUR 2,50 , product of a brewery whose name I will not mention here, and for food a glass Cirò bianco (0,25l EUR 6,00). Beer and wine not worth mentioning, but the Limoncello was good. For dinner, my heart favorite ordered as an appetizer beef carpaccio (EUR 14,00). I almost forgot the kitchen tomb: a large crowded mushroom with a beard garlic pesto. Very successful; unfortunately her champignon had fallen from the plate to the ground. I was allowed to clog the mushroom; she has not eaten him; I wanted to share my copy as if St.Martin was the legend after his coat and half, more than a little snack, but she didn't want the rest of my pesto. Of course I also got a delicious snack of her beef carpacchio covered with the finest olive oil; if she was really excited about her appetizer, I would have preferred a Vitello Tonnato at this point. As the main dish she had Risotto ai Gamberi with crabs, Scampi (if the latter, as foreseeable, sailed under false flag and ordered herself as usual somewhat petty gambas, zucchini, garlic and white wine for EUR 18.00. The Risotto itself praised them, but probably did not read the menu so thoroughly because both the presence of the Gamberi and the zucchini on ihem plate surprised them. That, according to Signora Pitittu, would not have been a problem, would have recognized the kitchen. Adesso; the zucchini remained largely, while the Gamberi landed on my plate with the exception of some exceptions. Right. The dessert for Signora Simba was homemade Cassata with Maraschino Likör (EUR 8.50). Two beautiful tranches and in the Cassata many candied fruits; Up! Italia should take an example of the number of Candidfruits found; I would like to have had a Zuppa Stracciatella, a Zuppa Pavese or Mille Fanti as an appetizer, but the only soup in the dogana is the tomato soup, and that is what I try to avoid.
