"So after a few days in Taxco, we were not having much luck finding a restaurant that had accomplished wowing us with the "Big Three" Outstanding food, ambience and service... until we found El Toque Romero. We were greeted immediately by the friendly and welcoming staff. And, while waiting for our food to arrive, the very talented and friendly chef, sent over two different samples of appetizers, tapas style. For lunch I had the ham and cheese crepes, very good and my friend had the Salmon Salad. This salad was filled with an array of fresh fruit, papaya, strawberries, kiwi and the dressing was tangy and a perfect complement to the grilled salmon. I was a bit envious, but she was kind enough to share. Before we left, the chef sent over a beautifully displayed tray of mezcal, served with oranges and cinnamon. Amazing!"

"A REAL Mexican meal in Taxco. Less touristy away from the zocalo. Sit on the patio and enjoy the view. The Pozole was very good and comes in green, red or clear. Seafood is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday."
