"The service was good but the food left much to be desired. If I wasn't so hungry I wouldn't have eaten anything. I got the dinner plate and everything on it was bad. The fries were soggy and cold, the corn was tasteless even with butter and salt, the mac was watery and tasteless, the slaw was mesh and even the garlic bread was bad. The smoked brisket did not taste smoked and was dry as all hell. The ribs my fiance got actually tasted good but were dry. The only thing I gave it one star for was the service and the taste of the bbq sauce. Dissapointed :"

"If you're passing through Ukiah at lunchtime, this is the place to stop. The only thing that I was surprised by The City of Ten Thousand Buddhas has gender specific areas, so don't go wandering around the grounds. If you check in at the visitor's reception area they will give you a map. In the short time we were there we saw a group of chanting monks, a group of businessmen, and several people who appeared to belong to a motorcycle gang. When we arrived the place was packed, so we shared a table with some other people. One man told us he would never normally eat meals without meat but he loves this place so much he comes at least once each week. You know when you have a crowd this diverse something good is going on. Service wasn't super speedy but everyone was very friendly. It helps to remember they are all volunteers. Our food was excellent and cheap. We'll definitely stop in the next time we pass through and bring our own to go containers (which are encouraged to reduce waste, but not required)."

"I have ate there many times over the years and never have been disappointed. They have a nice selection pretty much something for everyone. Breakfast lunch and dinners are great. Also have nice full service bar good ale on tap and mixed drinks. I'drecommend it. Great customer service. Always nice service."

"Very good! I can?t wait to come back! My husband and I had lunch here. The food was great and so was the service! I highly recommend the Fort Bragg rock cod tacos! They are amazing! From the fresh fish to the homemade corn tortillas you can?t go wrong! I love that you get a choice of baked cod or fried cod. We also got the garlic bread, brussel sprouts and fried chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was very tasty!"
