"We were 3 adult who eaten on 26 august 2021 at this first price French restaurant. we spent 2 weeks visiting the gaspé region quebec during the covid 19 pandemic. the government had the permission to travel between regions. a former colleague of my partner spends 4 months every summer visiting the village Carleton-sur-Mer. she recommended this restaurant as the best French restaurant in the region and agreed to dinate us as a guest. thanks to covid this restaurant opens only from Wednesday to Sunday. it opens at 17:30 clock and the kitchen closes at 20 clock it has only 8 tables and enough space for 20-25 customers. they're just doing an evening. we decided not to take any chances so we were the first parking space on the parking space around 17:10 p.m within 10-15 minutes was the parking lot full. as we were the first in the line, we got a table with a great view. I had one around and coks as a cocktail and the two remaining people had wein. in relation to the first cursor, our guest chose the crème brûlée with foie-gras and ingwerbread feigenmacaroons. a very beautiful presentation. my partner chose the foie grass that was delicious. I chose the most spectacular dish of the evening. it was saint honoré with homemade smoked salmon with blessed pesto and garden strawberry. I've eaten smoked salmon, but that was in a class of itself. the presentation was incredible. before describing the main course, a short word on our server. it is one of two owners of this restaurant. she is responsible for the dining room and her partner is responsible for the kitchen. the person answered every question in the menu in a detailed way. very impressive. Moreover, she had a great sense of humor. a real gem! regarding wein chose our hospitable red house wine, a saint chinian, Languedoc-Roussillon. my partner that I shared with a white bourgogne aligoté, albert bichot. regarding the most important courses, my partner and our host chose the same dish, planche gaspésienne. cod brandade, fish accras and a smoked salmon salad. both said the court was excellent. not allowed to share because covid, so I am satisfied with admiring the beautiful dishes! my main course was canine shoulders with sneezing sauce. it was also beautifully presented and a generous portion. we were quite full at this point, but our guest insisted that we try the desserts. our guest I had. absolutely delicious and very light. the first time I ever had a pear cake! my friend had decorated the homemade ice (3 portions! and beautifully with crumbles from her garden. what a pleasant evening and a 5-star meal. before taking a look into the unique wash kitchen we have ever seen. well done. I would like to emphasize how important it is that it will not be there later than 5::15, as otherwise they risk not getting a table. the whole evening the people were fed outside. not one of them managed to make it inside. when we were gone by 20 o'clock, they all disappeared. good luck!"
