"We thought we would try this place on their newly promoted Thursday, as we would introduce the city of perth on Friday. there were two other diners except us, so we had the place for us. the only positive was the decor. we ordered two cocktails that were delicious but very weak. it took 22 minutes to make 2 cocktails, and the bartender was quite rude when I asked them how much longer it would be. bad customer service skills. the male wc 4 of 5 had no toilet paper and any toilet had brown strips on the outside shell of the toilet, fies! not back!"

"Always love going to the Aviary. Love the decor, the service is always lovely (although the service staff at the Bird Cage seemed a little confused with what they had on the menu) and the drinks are always good.<br>

Decided to try out some food:<br>

• fried chicken (w/ chilli, maple and sesame): fried chicken was bomb ???? (abit too sweet for my liking but I would definitely order it again)<br>

• pork and ginger gyoza (in hot and sour soup): gyoza was nice, could do with a little more filling and the soup (which was essentially tom yum soup) could do with a bit more kick ????<br>

• BBQ pork bao: loved the soft bao dough but thought they ruined the pork ???? (it was dried out from being fried)<br>

Overall the food was a bit of a hit and miss for me. The food is pricey for the portions you get but I will still always come back for the drinks!<br>"

"Very disappointed and disgusted and will put me off forever! I thought i should try something different and to my dismay i really did by getting raw chicken on my butter chicken. Queue up patiently and this is what i got...took it back to the lady that served me,no appologies no nothing! What a great way to food poison customers huh?!????????"

"I have only ever had nasi goreng from here. About 6 times. Everyone at work gets it too. $10.90. So good. Huge portion. Actually I have also partaken in the 2 for $10 offer (late afternoons) and purchased 3 x prawn rice paper rolls and 8 x tuna sushi. Very yum."

"I came here for a quick impromptu work lunch - at first I was a little worried because we were the only ones here. But then when our food came - I was floored. Pretty much each of us had a set lunch item from the menu, so we got miso soup, some water melon, rice and whatever main dish was on the lunch menu.I had the Yaki-niku which is the pieces of marinated, grilled steak. Now I have eaten a lot of steak over the years in all kinds of cuisines. When I took my first bite of the steak I was blown away by how tender and perfectly cooked it was. The right amount of char for some texture and flavour, combined with the sauce, it was heaven.I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best pieces of steak I have ever had, no exaggeration.The service was attentive and the prices for the set lunches were reasonable."
