"Portions are big enough for lunch the next day. My wife got large fresh shrimp in her scampi and flavors were excellent with spices not overstated. Tough to find good Italian food in this part of NC but this place is a 9 out of 10. Good service. We will return."

"Most of my Fav Sandwich Shops Closed Monday ! No Breafast, No Lunch was 3:30pm, I really needed a *Good Burger*! So I Googled Best *Hickory Tavern* recomended! *GPS Directed* South 15/501 from Pinehurst! But, Just a Warning GPS Directed Turn Left at Comfort Inn Driveway ! Called *Hickory* Staff Very Helpful, Direct to Driveway just North of Inn said It Happens ! But Once there, was Seated fast, Very Nice Server, I ordered my Burger with Bacon, Arugala Toppings on the Side, Steak Fries Served Fast! One side was bit Peppery for me, but I Loved Flavor! I really Enjoyed my Burger $12.99, had Tonic Lime! Forgot Photo of Great Menu, it has Shrimp Grits, many of my Favs! Thanks Y 'all at *Hickory Tavern*, I 'll be Back !"

"The Carolina Dining Room stopped the booking at 9:00. The Ryder's Cup Lounge was open. I ordered some appetizers: Fried Green Tomatoes with White Cheddar Grits, Smoked Pimento Cheese, Kale, Tomatoes and Golden Raisin Chutney. Sandhills Caprese with fresh mozzarella, thick tomatoes, basil, olive oil and balsamikum and grilled crostini. The service was great and the food was delicious. The appetizers came out almost immediately! After the appetizers we enjoyed cocktails on the veranda. Pinehurst has a beautiful southern Christmas ambience!"
