"Metzgerhalle I stayed at the Swissotel in Oerlikon on a Sunday before my trip to elsewhere. Tired up with paying the high priced meals here. So I decided to give this Resturant a try. The Resturant is not easy to find for a tourist like...myself, no sign of the Resturant whatsoever. The window has a big sticker, written “Eichhof”. I walked past here maybe 7 times. On a quick search of trip advisor, there are not many to choose from in this area. I tried to stay away from pizza and pasta. So naturally my last meal here has to be Swiss. Decoration: Very underrated Swiss Resturant with a touch of a home feel. You will see the locals eating here. English is of no problem. My dishes were: 1. Chicken Schnitzel with pasta and salad 2. Sliced veal with Potato cake (rosti)"

"This eating joint was a short walking distance from our hotel Courtyard in Oerlikon where we were staying. This is a small eating place but believe you me, the food is simply very good. We ordered 2 dishes and both were great. Try their Pizza Exotica; it comes with topping of chicken, juicy tomatoes, pineapple with choice of sprinkles and it's really mouth melting. The second dish we had and I can recommend is Falafel Dürüm (of course, if you like falafel.) Just look for the orange color big 7 and get-in and trust me, they know how to satisfy you with great taste. Prices compare to mid-segment restaurants. The seating is cafe style and informally laid-out."
