"Great view of the sunset. Absolutely a beautiful complex... takes up a whole block! Woman owned 2nd oldest brewery in Asheville. You can see the packaging line below when you go to the third floor in the mansion. Lots of space for social distancing. Many fresh air — outside the picnic tables and terrace areas. Award-winning beer. Amazing gluten-free ginger beer (I cannot have wheat) Hard Cider and wines too! Iconic alcohol-free root beer, that's the best I ever had. Cool stone table for young and old. Elevator for those who do not want to climb four flights of the stairs. Close to several parking spaces."

"We have visited Thirsty Monk many times, but finally decided to see what Top of the Monk was about... now we can't wait to go back. The cocktails are delicious, the bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, and the space is cozy. Highly recommend stopping in for a wonderful cocktail."

"One word will adequately describe this bistro perfection ! From the environment which is beautiful and elegant to the staff that is friendly, professional and efficient tithe food which is fresh, delicious and pleasing to look at, this place has it all. The New fashioned made with ginger beer and an infused ice cube is a tasty sipping drink. The onion soup is a perfect balance of rich, tang and fresh flavors in harmony with each other. The steak frites is cooked to perfection and tender. It’s served with fresh veggies. We chose the profiteroles for dessert and they did not disappoint. Tender pastry with a cream filling and rich chocolate sauce you can’t go wrong with these selections. You will enjoy every minute of your visit. This is the way dining was meant to be experienced."

"My boyfriend and I were on a weekend away and this is his favorite BBQ in Asheville. We did take out and took it to the brewery next door to enjoy. The pimento cheese was the best I’ve ever had and the addition of sweet pickles and pickled onions was perfection. I also tried one of their salads which was also great, the lettuce was crispy and fresh, plenty of strawberries and goat cheese. Overall, would definitely go back on our next trip to Asheville."

"Rented a large hillside house SE from Asheville for the family vacation: 7 adults and 4 children. On Sunday, everyone went their own way and it was decided that we would bring in Indian for dinner. As I was driving with my daughter and son-in-law back from horseback riding, a group phone call settled on Mela Indian Restaurant and we would divert form I-40 to downtown for pick up. Food was ready and neatly packaged on time. BTW: restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff that I met were friendly and helpful. Amongst our orders were Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Vindaloo (hot but not too spicy), chicken tikki masala, mutter paneer (vegetarian dish) plus two different naan breads and a couple of other dishes that I have forgotten. Everything was excellent, even the kiddos found something that they would eat. It was a mass of food. It was a mass of food for less than $200. Several of us grabbed leftovers for lunch the next two days."
