"Castlemaine is a large city that is hardly a city, so this fine Thai restaurant is a blessing for the city. it is a trifle unusual to find a good Thai restaurant in a city this size, especcially one that serves exxcellent food. . I would recommend naam pla thai, I have eaten several times and eating was always full of taste. the prices are basic prices for what they get."

"Tried tasting paddle and had pizzas which were very very good - only available on weekends. Forgotten what types now as did review eralier but apparently not completed fully. Strongly recommend this place. Opposite Big 4 Cravan Park and other intersting businesses also in adjacent building."

"This small country restaurant provides great service, high quality authentic Indian food, in an attractive, quiet space. The food is reasonably priced & comes attractively served.The staff a friendly without being intrusive.Alcoholic beverages are limited but adequate. Cider & ginger beer are not available but would improve the range of choices."

"We go there regularly and it has been always consistent.Love the Panner do pyaza dish. Very authentic dhaba style curry reminds me of dhabas on Delhi highways. The naan is fresh and really soft. We go to lots of Indian restaurants and love to try new ones but naan at Chawla are the best in Perth.The staff are ever so sweet and always happy to accommodate any special requests. We have been there fairly late a few times but they never push you to hurry. Will definitely recommend!!!"
