"Just like the previous Sun Sui Wah restaurant we went to last week, this was another one we haven’t come to in quite a few years. I don’t recall ever coming here for dim sum but we have been here for dinner.We arrived before 11:30 on this sunny Friday morning and had to wait less than 10 minutes for a table.The 2 of us ordered the following 5 dishes:1. Fried scallop with Portuguese sauce (3 pieces for $7.25) – unusual dish that tasted alright. Deep fried dumping filled with mashed and diced taro and scallop pieces; not more 1 diced scallop per dumpling. 3 out of 5 rating.2. Steamed pork shiu mai (4 pieces for $7.25) – very average dish that is extremely over priced. 2.75 out of 5 rating.3. Deep fried shrimp roll with preserved egg and ginger (3 pieces for $7.25) – different and unique taste with the egg. 3 out of 5 rating.4. Rice rolls with spareribs hot pot ($8.80) – Tasty and large serving. 3.25 out of 5 rating.5. Deep fried squid ($8.80) – fair sized serving with sliced jalapenos, moist and tender. 3.25 out of 5 rating.There was a 10% discount for the “regular” dim sum dishes; the first 3 items above. "This has the typical modern Hong Kong dimsum vibe lots of people and chatter, so make a reservation ahead of time! No dimsum carts here; we ticked off our choices on their menu sheet and our jovial waiter with the cool spectacles took our order. Our food came out in good time! We took advantage of the early bird special where if you pay before 11:30 you get a nice deal for congee plus a variety of dimsum offerings. We arrived at 10:30 on a Wednesday morning. For the seven of us Cantonese foodies, we enjoyed a bunch of favorites (a large bowl of congee to share, ha gao, steamed spareribs with Japanese pumpkin, haam sui gok, siew long bao, phoenix claw, and more) Each piece was an ample size, tasty and fresh. We almost didn’t receive one order though, so good thing we checked our bill. With a quick apology, they delivered our forgotten order of egg tarts within minutes. Quite understandable for their oversight, considering the place was just roaring by that time. Another big plus was parking we had no problems finding a spot in the big lot that the restaurant shares with the strip mall. CDN $60 before gratuity for our meal and we ate well!"

"I am so glad that I didn't pass this place, tried the food here to start our Vancouver trip.Very special dimsum, and super rich flavor that you won't find it anywhere.Make the reservation will make your dining easier.We are lucky to be seated in 30mins~ on a weekday without reservation.Yup, definitely a must go place."

"Better than a lot of other Chinese restaurants. I often go to this place for dim sum whenever I go to Richmond. Both food and service are great and even better than most of other restaurants. It has never disappointed me so far."

"R&H Chinese Food is a food stall located in the Lansdowne Centre food court. Normally, you wouldn’t think that you could find good xiao long bao in a food court unless you’re talking about Xu’s Wonton House aka Shanghai Dim Sum House in Crystal Mall). I ordered the Combo A with Steamed Juicy Buns and Rice Noodle Soup $9.89). The combo really wasn’t worth it because the rice vermicelli was lacking in quantity and flavour… it was basically a small bowl of hot, clear soup with a few puffs, springs of green and less vermicelli than you’d find in a side order of sunomono. As for the XLB, the juicy filling was encased in a fairly thin wrapper. More importantly, there weren’t any broken dumplings which is a pet peeve of mine when ordering XLB at some restaurants). Overall, I’d come back for the XLB but that’s probably it."
