"We know that its a typical beach side sushi place, so that's why we wee not expecting a Nobu or anything like that, so in short, it was a good sushi place, not the best, but good for the beach if you're wanting some sashimi with extra ginger. My wife wanted the tuna gomai, but they did not have any gomai anymore, so we ended up having a nice variety of sashimi, and some yaki udon (a bit oily though, but good) the lady greeted us and sat us outside, it smelled a little old inside, so definitely sit outside if you can. They can't control the age of the building, but maybe something to try to take the old smell out would be a bonus for this place. Overall, good for the strip, but could be much better for sushi lovers such as my self!!!"

"We've been to PG's several times previously and always ordered the jerk chicken. I have to agree with the reviewer who stated the spices were too hot to enjoy. This is something new and I'll probably not order it again. On the other hand we found the goat curry on the bland side. Perhaps our taste buds were affected by the initial bites of jerk chicken. Thank goodness they had ice cold beer available."

"This place is amazing! My husband and I tried this place for the first time and the food does not disappoint!! Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. My recommendation to the owner is to add which items are spicy because the jerk chicken ignited my taste buds but it would probably be too spicy for the average person. The oxtail was sooo tender and was my favourite. The beef patties were so tender, but once again spicy. Still tasted great though!! Also the location is kind of in an area where it's difficult to find and park. My husband and I will definitely be back!! Worth every penny!"

"We were introduced to this restaurant a number of years ago. The food has a refreshingly different approach to Asian cooking. You can spice it up, or not. Though we dine out a lot, we actually have never eaten in the resataurant, but there take out and delivery service is outstanding. It is our favorite by a long way in the White Rock area. Just a note they are closed Sundays and I say good on them!"

"Everyone needs to know this restaurant, like so many other Asian restaurants, serves Basa fish. Try Googling Basa and you will never eat this foul fish again. If you are told the fish is cod, sole or anything else, specifically ask if it is Basa and you might be surprised at the response Basa is cheap! which is why they use it."

"We were here in he middle of the week and the restaurant was almost empty. The service and food were very good. We were in a group of 9 and ordered the dinner for 8. It was enough food for everyone but there was nothing left over. We did have to order extra white rice since it was not included. The lemon chicken was excellent."
