"We travelled by bus to San Carlo and hiked down the Val Bavona to Bignasco. (The Val Bavona has wonderful scenery and amazing traditional, but living,villages . We chose Foroglio for our lunch stop. We had heard of this traditional Ticino grotto and were lucky to get the last table with a view of the waterfall. There were two vegetarian main courses which we shared with a carafe of the local wine, followed by two desserts. The food was conceptually simple, but the execution was faultless and so, so tasty. Possibly the best lunch that I can remember. (The visit was in august 2106, but I have got behind in posting reviews."
