"Let's start with the negative... Edison has NO English menus, so if you don't speak German make sure you turn on your (since the free wi-fi wasn't working), to be able to use Google translator. Thankfully, the waiter was more than eager...to explain and translate and the food was fresh and delicious."

"Villa Aurora is situated on a hill in the outskirts of Vienna. The building is truely amazing and the garden is magical. The food is good and the wine is cheap. Sadly the staff doesent care. Charmless and rude people working there."

"A team of three runs a completely unique restaurant. Make a reservation in advance, there are places for only 18. Do not be afraid of ordering a surprise menue with up to six courses - or less, just as you wish. You won't be disappointed. You get a list of the ingredients and can tell if there is anything you do not want or like. Mr. Innovation Roman will respect your wish and adapt to it.Everything is tasty and a revelation. The surprise menue changes every 3 weeks. Apart from that you have a set menue, where it is clear what you get - and all the variations Roman has in his head, to avoid repetition. The lady of the house will serve you quietly and very efficiently. The price is moderate considering the quality of the food. But this place is expensive if you are just as well satisfied with a simple dish. Here you have to take time for eating your food and taste the savours. So take your time, enjoy the food, talk to your loved ones, sip a glas of wine. You can have a new glas of wine fitting every course. But with six courses it might be to much of a mixture. At this place the emphases should be on eating, so take a wine that will suit most of the dishes. Water is free."

"This is a very typical old timer Viennese local where you can really appreciate the good food they have. The portions are very large and enough for two people, across the board from the dishes to desserts. It was the best Vanille Schinitte special...Viennese dessert) I ever had and by the way... huge, enough for two people!!!"

"We were recommended to come here and we had a great evening. we came and the outside was full, but we decided we would like to eat inside. when we hired a teamman, a teamman came by to give us a head. that it was 40 minutes to eat as they had some big parties, but we were in the mood for some drinks so we were happy to wait. where we felt looked around was when he asked if he wanted to sit outside, and that he would take us outside as soon as a table was available. we had 3 cocktails and a beer, with 2 main courses, which on about 59 € I felt was a good value for money, as eating was incredible, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself a beautiful location."

"We went for dinner here to celebrate our last evening in Vienna, partly because of positive reviews. The restaurant seems nice but the food and in particular the service were very disappointing. The person serving us was really gruff, and sweaty, and smelled strongly of...cigarettes. The ingredients were ok but the dishes were really poorly seasoned. I had the seafood platter for which was small prawn, scallop, half a sea bass, one small piece of squid) and had basically been char-grilled on a pan that had clearly not been cleaned the main flavour was of carbon. The seafood came with a small amount of potatoes w one sprig of rosemary, and a very indifferent salad (musty dressing, some leaf stalks were brown). I asked for some lemon to try to add flavour (it didn't come with any) and received two tiny slices and was actually charged a euro for it! When I asked about this the waiter shrugged and said it wasn't his problem as he wasn't the owner. He didn't ask if we wanted dessert. We left as soon as we were finished eating as the atmosphere was so hostile and unwelcoming. Really bad attitude a bit of charm and some sense of service could have made it all a lot better. Not going back, would certainly not recommend."
