"This was a Birthday Dinner for my Wife and the Windmill Team came up trumps in all respects! The Ambience was just right. Quite busy for a Thursday evening. The wait staff were all lovely, friendly and yet professional. The food was perfect! We were there on the lobster Thursday and we both had Salmon as the starter and we both had the lobster as our main. Yum Yum. For desert, my Wife had the Sticky Toffee and I had the Peanut Parfait. All of which were simply delicious. Loved it. And we had a bottle of Balfour Rose 2018. Thankyou the Windmill team for making my Wife's Dinner just perfect."

"Had dinner here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Very clean, friendly and food tasted great. Decent wine list, down to earth staff and nice atmosphere. Reasonably priced.....my friend and I had a dinner, glass of wine each, a soft drink each, a coffee each, olives to share and I had a desert. Total price £49.96 Excellent"

"I really like this place and have eaten here twice in the last week with a friend. The service is great,the staff are all really friendly and engaging as well as knowledgeable we were recommended lovely wine by our waiter on our first visit and on my second visit I threw a curve ball and asked for an off menu brandy to finish and to my delight I was offered a beautiful armagnac #kudos , the food is great as is the wine list, and finally not to forget the deserts in the patisserie; the pistachio and raspberry tart in particular was stunning. A well run restaurant, a real little tucked away gem"
