"Our tour group had a short time on Reims to see the cathedral before traveling out to Epernay. Some of us decided to stop in the Bistro Le Maryland for drinks or coffee. We were treated very kindly and given great service. The drinks and coffee were very reasonable and had it been closer to lunchtime, several of us would have eaten there as well. If you are in Reims, give them some business. They are only a block around the corner or so from the main cathedral entrance (to the left down the street if standing at the cathedral door and looking away into town."

"En route to Espenelves, Catalonia, via Reims, Dijon and Salon de Provence we stopped for lunch in Reims. Des Lys is a delightful cafe serving good quality food with comfortable exterior and interior seating. The owner is great and loves you to speak French which is right up our street. Lovely position, reasonable cost and just a treat."

"We went here for a drink and some appetizers. Everything went great at the beginning. nice host, nice seating and service, but after that things went a little wrong. When I go out it's about continued service, not take care of us, get our drinks and plates and leave us? We waited 20 minutes to be asked if we would like something else maybe another drink, water, more cheese anything, but nothing. This is not a big place, which makes it a nice quaint place to sit and relax, but please pay a little more attention to your customers. My wife and I were looking for another drink and no one ever came back to service us such a disappointment so we paid our bill and left. I can't trash this place as it is very nice with great ambiance. The people are very nice and it has a little home feel to it so you can kick back. Alll we all ask for is some better service"
