"We went here twice because we were so impressed with our first visit. The cheese plate and/or pairing, or the chocolate pairing for that matter are definitely recommened. The waiters gave nice explainations about the history and the ports we were tasting, and were super...friendly and helpful overall. I would even recommend going here instead of visiting the cellars."

"We came back here after a couple of years and it is still very good. The fish and seafood are very very good. It is worth the money. Many local people were having lunch or Dinner there as well which often speaks for the quality... authenticity of the food. First we did not want to go there because of the bad reviews- but thank God we still did trusting our previous experience. This is one of the best seafood fish restaurants we have been to. You cannot make reservations. Just go there early. We will come back definitely."

"Dinner for four with a great view over the river to Ribeira lit in the night. Efficient if not too friendly staff, reasonable prices and a decent wine list, but the real highlight for me was the tripas trip with white beans... and chourico cooked. I appreciate that this is not every taste, but it was one of the best things I ate the whole trip. The menu is long and varied enough to accommodate most taste, although my wife reported that the lasagna was 'unusual'."
