"Just dropped into the Rattlebone for lunch. 3 of the meals were fine but my wife ordered the quiche. When it came it was the smallest, thinnest piece of quiche you’ve ever seen wit a few salad leaves. When the landlord asked whether everything was ok I told him the quiche was rather minimalist. His response was that it was a starter which was nonsense as it appeared on the specials board in between a number of main courses with nothing to indicate it was a starter. And who ever has quiche for a starter? My wife is not a big eater but we have just arrived home and she had to make a sandwich to keep her going. We have often gone to the Rattlebone after visits to Westonbirt, but we’re so disappointed this time that we will not be going there again."

"I think it's so lovely. They have a seating area outside and if it's a lovely day how nice to have a outside area too. Inside is very clean and the staff are friendly. I went in and the owner was serving some elderly ladies and he was so polite and caring with them. The coffee was served in style with a tiny glass with brown sugar on the side so the custoner can help themselfs with how much sugar they want. If you cannot find a place to park then best to park in sainsbury car park and it's about 5 min walk from sainsbury car park. I will be coming back here for sure. Even though I will have to travel as I don't come from melksham. So if you want a lovely bar which is modern and clean with friendly staff then this is the place to come"

"Went for a family meal 4 adults and 4 children. The food was amazing all freshly home cooked food and the service was very good. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Didn’t get any photos as everyone was tucking in before I could get one"

"Our new favourite pub! This is how you refurbish a pub! It's been done out fantastically, even the toilets are fabulous! The staff are really friendly and there's a great choice of drinks as well as local ones. And it's extremely dog friendly. Love it, love it, love it! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
