"Made a reservation to eat at this restaurant with my husband tonight knowing that the county is on orange level precautions and there are restrictions for restaurants. Came in for our time....this restaurant is not observing the required restrictions. All tables were in use which meant many patrons were/would be less than 6 ft from each other and without masks if eating. Some patrons were walking around the restaurant without masks. Some of the staff were wearing only bandannas around their faces, the least protective option. Upon seeing this, my husband and I opted to immediately put in a to go order, not taking off our masks while in the venue. Upon returning to our room with the food, I will say the food was quite good."

"I was attached to Cake Gypsy when I did an internship in the Simsbury region a few years ago and someone brought the most amazing Cannoli dip to a party. Since then we have made special trips from the West mass for their cupcakes. Since we love her so much, we even decided to have her for our wedding in October 2018. You were AMAZING! We have mini cupcakes, cake pops and chocolate covered oreos. Everyone loved the diversity and it was so much less expensive than a traditional wedding cake, although I am sure they had made a delicious cake. We were so happy that we went with Cake Gypsy (and we are even happier that a business opened in Granby, CT and is much closer to us)."

"This a real gem everything is good so no need to list my favs. Get there early on the weekends when it is gone it is gone. The owners are amazingly friendly and engaging. Avon/Farmington and the Valley aren't known for welcoming hospitality this place is what every small business should be."
