"What can I say!! What an amazing experience I had here with my 9 children and nephew Hamlet. Firstly I would like to thank the manager and supervisor for being so understanding of my rowdy family and taking an interest in learning about all of them.. I even offered them free labor LOL!! Coffee was fantastic and we'll needed after running about after these eejits all day long lol Prompt service considering I ordered 11 drinks and 11 traybakes and served all with love and a smile. Hamlet is lactose intolerant and gluten free and they even met his needs too, poetic it was indeed! Needless to say I will be back and hope to be greeted by the same staff members if I'm lucky enough haha they were so beautiful. 20 stars xxxxx"

"Went today for lunch for the first time and the food was amazing service was fast and so so polite to both the men! Husband is from newcastle and hes been after a good pub lunch for a year and he said hes found it ! We will 100% be back!"

"Old Block? Traditional! I happened to come across the restaurant by accident as I was stopping in the village to check my location en route to Portstewart. I 'd stopped opposite the restaurant and it simply invited me in! Upon entering I was immediately impressed with the look of the restaurant and the lovely ambiance it offered. Both the take away and sit in sections were spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. I had a sit in meal which was well prepared, presented and lovely to eat. As I was about to leave Mrs Frew approached me and asked if I had enjoyed my meal. I had no hesitation telling her that my answer was a big 'Yes! ' Mrs Frew was pleasant, friendly and made me feel very welcome. This, my 1st visit to the restaurant, will not be my last one because I love quality food sold at a very fair price."

"Very expensive for breakfast will not be back. Used to have free tea with breakfast but now a 5 piece fry is £6 and then you have to buy your tea. Not worth it! Will not be back"
