"This restaurant is attached to the Esplanade Motor Inn in Batemans Bay. We had dinner here and the service was excellent, efficient and friendly. The menu wasn't large, though plenty of choice.I had the Beef Cheek Ragout with gnocci, peas and peccorino. Very tasty and tender. My husband had the skirt steak with cauliflower puree and thrice cooked chips. Also delicious and tender. I can highly recommend the Tirramissu for dessert.We had our breakfast there the next morning as well and there were plenty of choices including eggs, cereal and fruit."

"I had a quick early morning brekkie here before a meeting, while the family had a sleep-in. Good coffee, very friendly, efficient staff. Big Breakfast was wonderful, just what I needed. Will be a South Coast staple for me"

"Visited with my family for lunch, the wraps were good and the ceasar salad was even better, good coffee, great milkshakes, good value for money, nothing fancy just good quality staple food. Staff are very friendly will return to try there pancakes someday they looked fantastic !"

"My wife and I dined here last Saturday while travelling through Batemans Bay, the cafe was almost at compacity but we decided to still dine there. We we're promptly greeted by lovely staff. We order and we're made aware at the time that there will be a wait on meals (which was very understanding with how busy they were) The coffee and freshly squeezed juices were lovely and our meals arrived in no time at all. I had the fresh local fish and my wife had the free range eggs with bacon, both meals were lovely and we were actually asked by a waitress how our meals were!! Will certainly be back next time."

"Revolting. Fish, calamari and chips tasted like old oil that hadn't been changed in months. The fish was fresh, but the oily, stinky batter ruined it. The calamari was rubbery, the chips were hardly cooked. Literally inedible, we threw ours in the bin after spending $40! Wasn't worth eating something that tasted so terrible. We will never be back. Don't go here unless you enjoy the stink of old oil."
