"Coffee average, smooth. Food average. Service average. Cleanliness average. Menu range average. Order accuracy average. Speed of service good. Value good. Overall experience average. We visited on a Wednesday morning in November 2021. Eggs Benedict was very plain, with squirt bottle sauce, no garnish. Dull pancakes. Packet salt and pepper. I asked for strong coffee, but was given single shot. Parking was in Street or nearby shopping; there were spaces for disabled people too. Choice to dine in, alfresco, or take-away. The outside of the cafe is well presented. The cafe looks average, is average. Nothing shines. Wheelchair accessible entry. Thoughtful menu for breakfast and lunch"

"We had a wonderful time. Staff were great in a very busy evening service. The pizza's were lovely and the fried chilli olives were delicious. So it was very worth while travelling from Bundaberg and Victor Harbour. So make sure you book as it is a very busy restaurant."

"While sitting in this café having a coffee, I watched the owner cleaning a table after diners left and he took the plates into the street and scaped the leftovers onto the road. I was appalled. I will not go back there. but I do hope that they do not continue this behaviour"

"Just recently, we called in to 8 Lunch Bar for a coffee and slice for a morning tea break. The décor has a friendly atmosphere with comfortable seating available and lounge area in the front window section. We ordered a slice and two coffees to eat in. On the morning we were there, we observed that customers who came and ordered take-away coffees after us, were served before us which was disappointing from our point of view. We had to remind the waitress that we were still waiting for our coffees. The coffee came to us warm and not hot enough for our liking. A small biscotti slice was provided with the coffee. The cheesecake slice we chose, although the topping was nice, the base was rather hard to cut through. There was no accompaniment with the slice for presentation."

"This restaurant was recommended by Chris at Ocean Drive Motel. We fell in here after we played across the street on the beach. The service staff was attentive and helpful. Eating quickly came from the kitchen. The Chicken Skewers Sauce was a highlight! If this restaurant sells the sauce through the bottle, I would buy a CASE! All right! Very recommended. The culinary experience was perfect, veranda is beautiful and view spectacular. Even if it was a busy night, the staff cut us in without reservation. Very friendly, delicious food."
