"Great if you are looking for a good coffee and a place to hang out for a while. I like to go there to write. Bar service, regular art shows. Outdoor seating. Books and games, if you are so inclined. Just a really nice local...cafe."

"Cherries makes a great, homestyle lunch. Their chicken salad sandwich is my favourite. The soups and sandwiches are fresh and homemade. Downsides are that the space is very tight and seating is very limited, especially during the lunch hour. It also closes early, which is unfortunate."

"Pho Vuong has been open down in Victoria for quite a while on Fisgard, and now they're open in Duncan. Good Pho, good Bun -- it's not a sophisticated Vietnamese place with what's become a standard menu for Pho restaurants, but what they have is well done and tasty."

"I was in line for 5 minutes, with a couple in front of me. The staff behind the counter didn’t seem to care about serving any more customers. They were just slowly putting together other orders. I left, and so did the couple in front of me. I’ve never seen such terrible service. 0/10 don’t recommend"
