"Good coffee (above extra for alternative milk calculated) and beautiful vegan breakfasts, but it took a little long to arrive. the staff was friendly, but it seemed a bit rushed. some tables had a beautiful view of the harbour. in a good area the revitalized fruit market bit of hull."

"A high-quality local cube with sensational staff, pleasant entertainment and delicious food. The atmosphere is always friendly; George, Courtney, Keira and Robbie make the Saltshouse a warm and welcoming place to spend your spare time. George's Tuesday quiz grows week on week and he puts so much effort to make it challenging, but also fun. The karaoke is the weekly highlight with great participation. The Saltshouse is a local pub for everyone, and to visit its true joy."

"Went for late lunch with my daughter and granddaughter. Had a pizza from the lite menu each and sharers of olives and herb potatoes. The food was really tasty and very filling. We also had a tub of cherry sorbet and a tub of mango sorbet to take away, very generous helping and delicious. The staff were very friendly and surroundings clean and tidy. The only issue my daughter had was the changing table in the toilets as she said it looked like somebody had sat on it and broken it. Would definitely recommend and revisit though."

"Popped in for a light bit and had a really lovely fresh prawn salad and one of the chocolatiest hot chocs I’ve had in a while. Service was fast, atmosphere relaxing and the server (owner? polite and helpful. They are developing further gluten free options for their menu and will be back!"

"My experience was great, the waitress was very knowledgeable about coeliac disease. They said they could adapt pretty much everything on menu. The chips are cooked in a separate fryer. I had surf and turf, which I couldnt have the scampi so they gave me extra prawns and couldn’t have onion ring so offered other options I had peas. I also had buttered asparagus. I’ve been ok so far (the morning after), I’m very sensitive so it’s looking good. They also said the GF Yorkshire Puds on Sunday too."
