"Went down for our last dinner of our recent trip to the UK, right before heading home on the channel tunnel. Food was amazing, felt like I was in heaven, so delicious. Had the steak and kidney pie which looked and tasted really great with fresh ingredients and a miniature lion in the crust to top it all off. Sticky toffee and date pudding with custard as dessert was superb as well. Harry was our waiter for the evening and took great care of us, super friendly and lovely chap. Extra bonus was we drove only a couple of minutes to reach the channel tunnel terminal, didn't even have to get back on the motorway, so location was ideal for us. They'll definitely see us back on our next visit!"

"The food was fantastic but overpriced in my opinion had steak and chips for the price i would have expected some salad or vegetables to accompany it as was a little bare but was very tasty We used to come here a lot, the revamping is lovely and it looks so much better but did like the good honest pub food at reasonable prices it used to have x"
