"What a find !!! Fabulous Sunday lunch. Good choice of dishes. Friendly and very welcoming prompt service even though it was a fairly busy day. Landlord Martin really nice guy. All the staff very accomodating even made us some liqueur coffees. Good range of beers to boot. 5 stars all the way."

"Visited with a friend for dinner and, unfortunately, was underwhelmed. First impression is how claustrophobic it is inside. Accessibility is really difficult with how steep and narrow the stairs are. Luckily, none of us had mobility issues, but they didn't ask either, so not sure how they would accommodate people with mobility needs. Our table was in the middle of the little room, and space was a little tight with everyone moving around us. Service was average they took our drinks order (red sangria) but seemed like they forgot, and so we had to remind them to bring it. Food came out suspiciously quickly, some of it hot and some of it lukewarm, and so we had food before we had anything to drink (tapas literally is nibbles for your drinks). When ordering, we wondered why some tapas were triple the price of others and were hoping they would be bigger portions to share, but unfortunately, they were still small portions just overpriced. The kicker was chorizo and king prawns in a small clay dish, few spoonfuls each £15.95, i wish i had taken a photo of it. This is the price for a full main dish normally. 2 pieces of stuffed chicken thighs £12.95. One piece of Tumbet (layered veg with sauce) which we had to split £11.95. Our bill came to £50 per person."

"A friend hired this in the evening for a private 60th birthday party. Fabulous venue. Food was excellent . Staff where friendly and attentive. Also me and my partner regular go for coffee and cake and have always had a good experience"

"Lovely, clean, light and airy decor with the odd quirky twists. Greeted quickly by friendly staff. Ordered The Ross and was surprised at the size of the meal but were assured that they could arrange for us to take away any leftovers. Served in a timely manner. Food very tasty and hot. Excellent value for money. All staff helpful and approachable. Great relaxed experience and they even had festive toilet paper!"

"I enjoyed a beautiful cappuccino and sausage roll while enjoying a view of the lively lincoln high street below. the cappuccino was perfectly prepared and the sausage roll had a fine crack on it. my server was jackie and she was very friendly and helpful....I would definitely come back here!"

"Great coffee house, the best in Lincoln. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, the food is good (more gluten free please! and I personally love the Engkish Breakfast Tea blend lovely. All in all, definitely recommended as a cut above the rest."
