"Deeks used to be a small gluten free bakery and coffee shop at the Pearce shops. After renovation and relocation of the bakery, it is now a hidden gem with its cosy atmosphere enhanced by elegant chesterfield lounges and turkish rugs. The coffee is good and it has a satisfyingly varied range of tasty gluten free delicacies. I've noticed that a number of community groups such as Bosom Buddies, and walking groups seem to gather there regularly for a coffee and catch up too."

"These are the top 3 of my life-restaurants after I might travel all over the world. best service of the owner and the personal. I really felt special. we ordered goat fish, lamb, yellow torte, butter huh and naan basket. all were high quality and very tasty. my child had an annoyed bauch so the owner made him amazing lemon juice and it worked wondering. I recommend this restaurant for eating, conveniently located and especially mrs. singhs service. I felt like my mother took care of me and my family."

"Wheat and Oats Colbee Court PHILLIP). Thin seating on stools outside like Manolo which is around the corner. I liked their oat milk coffee. The guy was very friendly. Mjj said this place is more expensive than Stand By Me. However I much preferred...the coffee here. They have an outdoor part outside but immediately behind that are some steep stairs. Might not be good for my dogs. They only open it in Summer and it is in the sun so might be too hot for me. I prefer the thin seating out the front as it was in shade. Facing same way as Manolo (same aspect so will never get sun out front but will get sun in their deck out back when it is opened in a few months. Quite a large indoor area. (M-F (Sat (Sun There is a grassy area just outside the shop which was handy for my dogs. Bring your own poo bags of course! There are public bins dotted around. There is also a public toilet in the court which was handy"

"Weeknight dinner with friends. Being January the place was vey quiet. Have been before and loved it; this visit did not disappoint either. The owner loves his home country and will chat about it if you're keen, and this was fascinating. The three of...us chose entrees and two mains to share, plus a fatoush salad. We then ordered an extra dish and finished with a little too much, but were able to take the leftovers home. Lamb kebabs were flavourful and very tender. Baba ghanoush outstanding (the hummous at the last visit was equally amazing).. hot puffy wholemeal flatbread excellent. Wine by the glass. Did not have dessert. Service faultless."

"Hamburgers are great. Chips are hot and crispy great. Sadly, the fish has let me down twice now didn’t taste fresh, overcooked. Batter tough and brown possibly due to overcooking. Will give the “fish a miss” in future a pity really."
