"Found this gem of a place while looking for a thick shake to cool off from the very hot day while visiting Marybourough. Sort of like 50's diner feel inside. This would have to be one of the best and proper thick shakes we have ever had in years for $5.00 .We shared one as it was plentiful and loaded with ice cream. They also have a good range of food choices at reasonable affordable prices and even have Gluten Free products for sale. The girls working there were friendly and very professional. We will be going back again before we leave for another one."

"While holidaying in Maryborough during a hot summer we played twice at this course and enjoyed it each time. The club members were very welcoming and friendly, assisting us when needed. During summer when water is in short supply the fairways are not completely watered,...but the tees and greens are, the greens are beautifully maintained! The front nine has a few gravelly fairway sections, the back nine hardly any. There are a few water obstacles and a small number of sand bunkers, all fairly shallow. Be warned, there are no toilets on the course apart from the clubhouse so don’t get caught short! The clubhouse has a full bar and bistro catering to golfers, lawn bowlers and the general public, it also offers sandwiches etc for golfers lunches. Indoor and outdoor dining options, kids play area, ample parking, located on the edge of town. $20 for 18 holes, $15 for 9. Definitely worth a game when you’re in town!"

"After googling a few cafes in Maryborough, we found Allikats by chance as they provided a few gluten free options for my sister. What a brilliant find! We had wraps made to order, both of which were absolutely delicious with very generous fillings! Our father ordered bacon and eggs and his plate arrived piled high with beautifully cooked and yummy food! The coffee arrived and as we are coffee snobs, my sister and I did not expect such high quality coffee and it was more than good, excellent in fact!! To cap off the great food and coffee, we were also super impressed with the great service!! The staff were all lovely and offered wonderful old fashioned service, plus after we asked about a few places of interest the advice they offered was spot on. We only intended to stay in Maryborough 20min, but due to Allikats great service, food and coffee we ended up staying a few hours. I will definitely be going back!!"

"Excellent food, reminds me of food my relatives would prepare for how it brings back a lot of nostalgia. The coffee was excellent and left a fantastic aftertaste, my favorite meal was the Pho and the beef was soft and tender. I would definitely recommend to return here for any time of the deal."
