"Great place to refuel after an extensive walk of some of the grounds at Ickworth. Plenty of choice but recommend the scones flavour of the day was toffee apple! We managed to get a table in the conservatory so were treated to wonderful sunny...views of the garden."

"Arrived for Sunday lunch at for a birthday celebration and while drinks and starters arrived in a timely manner, the main course didn’t arrive until The food however was exceptional, throughly enjoyed the roast beef and we got a shared pudding platter which...was perfect to share between people. The team also surprised us with a birthday message on the pudding plate which was a lovely extra touch. Only thing the restaurant needs to improve on is the wait between courses."

"We originally had drinks then wanted some food. I asked in the restaurant and was turned down when only 2 tables were in use, no others reserved. So my friend tried to order bar food but was told they were too busy! When it clearly wasn't. Won't be going again."

"Ordered 2 large chips. The older grey haired guy taking orders was quite abrupt when taking my order and with other customers. He was also very snappy at the other people working there. I waited 20 min for my order. The chips are served in...cardboard containers and it was a small portion at best for £3.30. Considering they were cooked fresh they didn’t stay hot for very long. Won’t be going back there again."

"We traveled by ipswich to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday. the service was excellent, I mentioned that it was his birthday and they were extra attentive. the food was excellent I had never had a brownie as it would definitely recommend."
