"It was very busy when we arrived and most of the tables were occupied. one of the waitress cleaned the only empty table for us, as we sat down. at the order I could see that the work areas behind the theke were very clean, even if everyone started to go, the waitress was clear and wiping down each table. very impressed by the cleanliness of this place on this day and credit goes to the waitress that this (5/10/21)"

"This used to be a lovely fish and chip shop, now they give you reheated dry chips. Ordered a large piece of fish, half of it was batter. Every time I seem to go the price has gone up. They have lost a loyal customer because of their greed."

"Looking for somewhere for lunch we found this lovely little cafe tucked away in the heart of Bishops Lydeard. We were greeted on arrival by friendly staff and shown to a table. Covid precautions were in place. We only wanted sandwiches and they were happy...to make them as we requested. We were particularly taken with the tea being served in china teacups. We both chose cakes from their display and I would be very surprised if they were not their own making. They were lovely. Yes, certainly a lovely little stop over and well worth a visit."

"Came in for lunch one rainy day with my family. Menu was limited and no children's menu. It was cold inside and I felt the place was cold and uncosy. We walked in not sure what to do.. no menus on tables and no direction on what to do.no welcome hello until my husband went to the till. Free water point which nice to see. The food was amazing we shared a sausage roll while I waited on a burger and my husband had the curry.. both beautiful. My children had cake the chocolate was a little dry where my daughter smashed her lemon and raspberry cake. This place could do with little extras. Menus on table with a please order at the till sign. A few cushions to make it more welcoming. A Child friendly menu.. sweet potatoe fries etc would be epic.. a must go for food! Fully support the vegan movement!!"

"Seven of us went here after a mile circular walk through lovely local scenary. Cosy, unpretentious and welcoming. Best cheese on toast ever ! We all enjoyed excellent food and various hot drinks. Not expensive, would definitely visit again."
