"We took advantage of a warm autumn day to wander round the harbour. The George was busy, which is always a good sign. All safety precautions were being observed and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered a trio of starters to share and...each was tasty and well presented. Spicy corn fritters, bbq wings and a pair of pulled pork sliders in mini brioche buns. Surprisingly high quality for a seaside pub and we will definitely return to check out the menu further."

"I have visited the cafe on various occasions and have to say the food is always spot on!! The staff are extremely friendly. The only criticism i have is that on a few occasions i have visited the manager has had the same regulars in and she quite often talks quite loudly across the cafe over tables sometimes with some colourful language (altho not meant in a bad way and is just banter) it can be quite difficult to enjoy the food as it makes the atmosphere quite rowdy. Having said that this has only been on a few occasions and on the whole it is an extremely well run cafe. As per previous comments, covid measures are taken very seriously too."
