"Mixed review this. Great seafood place and I am sure they will have a very good selection of seafood as the seafood season changes. The oysters, scallops and tuna were great. Ambiance pretty good, but they just need to turn the AC down a...little. Wine selection is good, but very expensive for some international wines. This is where my rating loses 2 stars Service. Initially, upon entry and waling up the stairs there was no one to greet you. When at the bar, it took them 5 minutes to even acknowledge your existence and when they did, there were some beverages not available. Upon requesting our seat, it took a further 5 minutes to be seated (baring in mind, the restaurant was not even half full). Our waiter for dinner service was very attentive to our needs, however, the additional food runners were not. I thought the service could definitely be improved. Overall experience very good."

"After visiting this establishment twice with different friends each time, I can only recommend this establishment. Friendly welcome, explanations of the dishes chosen, attentive and warm staff, everything is done to make you feel at ease.For the dishes, everything is a matter of taste but we all liked what we had order. The combination of flavors is sophisticated and interesting, the portions served are ideal for a normal appetite; This allows you to order without hesitation starter, main course and dessert without leaving anything on the plates, while being perfectly satisfied.The prices are certainly higher than in a fast-food, but quite justified for a gourmet restaurant .I will go back, I have not tested the whole map!"

"We went back after a 3 year break and had again one of the best dinners we had in years (probably since the last time we were here.) they serve a 7-course tasting menu that was beautifully decorated and everyone was bite. a taste. if montreal restaurants should ever get michelin stars this place should be at the top of the list. we have eaten in various other top restaurants in montreal, but we always go back to ile flottante when we can. can not recommend this place very much."
