"Personally, I liked the kutchay dumplings, which are filled with lots of chopped green vegetables and juicy ground pork mixed with Chinese celery and other spices."

"Grilled objects all tasted the same. I didn't kill you. that's all. don't get me wrong, it didn't taste bad. the grilled items were really delicious, but as they tasted equally, it is like eating the same plate, regardless of wether they ordered bark or gizzard or chorizo or lamb. the kung pao chicken is a strong serve and tasted good. I have mixed feelings about the baby cabbage. the smashed gurke was the highlight of the night. everywhere the food was good and the food stuff had a few wins.
what turned me off was the personal. the personal was loud, grumsy and inattentive. they left out a series of exletive within the earstake of customers and would give customer requests apart as if they could not be disturbed until one of them actually stands up to do/forgot it."

"Went here on a Sunday night with my family to have dinner. Luckily we were accommodated right away without making any reservations. I was surprised that Modern Sichuan, which is located at BGC and Modern China is only one and they only differ in the name. The food we ordered were all ok, a bit of improvement on some dishes because some are too oily and some are too salty. Serving size could also do a lot better next time because the amount you pay for does not equal with the amount they serve."

"I gotta hand it to Wabi-Sabi for being that cool spot at the Collective to serve vegan versions of popular asian dishes. Their Tom Yum noodles, Pot Stickers and Pho are SO GOOD and all-vegan; the Tom Yum and Pho being a crazy, aromatic, tasty mess of herbs and noodles. The Pot Stickers are filled with mushrooms (shiitake I think).

They fall short on attempting to recreate pork dishes, however. Their Bahn Mi meat tasted savory-sweet, and their shio ramen was a saltier version of their pho, with veggie meat as a poor substitute for chashu pork. It tasted great, it just didn't taste like ramen.

Don't get me wrong, I loved this place and would definitely go back, but only for their Pot Stickers and Tom Yum."

"We rented a place nearby and wanted to eat dinner within the area. I suggested to check the Collective and we found Wabi-Sabi. The food that they serve are vegetarian meals.

It was indeed a good choice! No guilt noodle soup! I ordered tomyum while my dad had viet pho. My mom and brother had tantanmen. We ordered those three because the others were not available. We also added harumaki for sharing. At first, we just ordered one harumaki until we ordered another and then another one! It was very flavorful and chewy. It's like fried tekamaki. The tomyum is sour, not much of a fan for the veggies that tasted odd but I enjoyed it especially the tofu and other cold cuts. The viet pho was like my tomyum except that it wasn't sour and had different toppings. I like the noodles used for tomyum and viet pho which was chewy. A different noodle compared to that of famous Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The tantanmen is sesame oil based so it's for people who like that kind.... read more"

"I didn't really dig Korean dishes until last year when I first tried Top Dish. My officemate was raving about this authentic Korean near Burgos and I reluctantly joined him. The place wasn't fancy. It looked like a regular house with the first floor converted into a small resto. You'd be reminded of the karinderyas in Korean TV shows. But it was cozy, clean, and best of all the owner is accommodating. I especially like their Yangnyoum Chicken and Jeayuk Bogum. You can tell its authentic by how Koreans frequent this place. Will keep coming back. BTW, they're open from"

"SUNDAY FAMILY DINNER :)

It's my first time dining here but was able to try the chicken when my aunt brought some home for dinner and we all liked it! So I'm excited to finally get to try the other dishes they offer. :)

The place is simple yet beautiful. Everything is black and white - walls, table cloth, chairs, and photographs. I like how relaxed, quiet, and calm the place is, perfect for "intimate" lunch/dinner with the parents or your family. :)

My aunt ordered for us and she got the following:

POMELO SALAD. Green salad w pomelo and salted egg, drizzled w Baguio-strawberry vinaigrette (255).

- We all liked this, very light and refreshing! Generous serving of fresh greens, pomelo, and salted egg. Loved the strawberry dressing.

BEEF BULALO. Beef bone marrow boiled until tendee and served w corn (419)

- the soup was flavorful, they added lots of veggies and the beef was tender.

LOLA VIRGINIA'S CHICKEN RELLENO. Roasted chicken stuffed w ground pork, raisins, chorizo, and peas (630).

- MUST MUST TRY!! We all loved this one. Chicken was tasty and was not dry.

BAGNET PAKBET. Mixed Vegetables sautéed in bagoong, topped w bagnet (205).

- usual pakbet but made special because of the chicharon and bagnet. Healthy and sinful!"
