"The restaurant is located in a plaza just north of the 401 and is unassuming from the outside as it has a fairly standard plaza store front. However, on the inside the décor is quite attractive and has a nice romantic charm to it. From the interior it has a nice Italian plaza feel to it which is appropriate for restaurant and quite a contrast from the other businesses around it. The menu had many more unique items on it such as Pizza all Tosca, Penne alla Vodka and Petto di Pollo Ripiens. Many of their menu items were unique as the result of using goat cheese as a main ingredient. The prices are reasonable for the food are reasonable and the wait staff are good for the restaurant style. The presentation / plating of the food is nice and the taste/quality is quite excellent. The restaurant does give a nice relaxing, quiet evening out in the heart of Meadowvale.I had the Petto di Pollo Ripiens (Chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese in a pesto cream. This was a well sized entree and very tasty. The pesto cream added a nice touch and look to the dish. I would return to have this meal again."

"I found out about this restaurant from my husband he often had team lunches here. What a great place! Perfect for a business lunch if you want to have a great meal and a conversation where you can actually hear each other. Warm atmosphere, excellent service, friendly staff."

"I dined at MBD after a 20 years lapse after having relocated away from Oakville. I was very happy to see that MBD is still going strong and still providing good value, which explains its longevity. Commendation to the Morra family. Very good food with very good service, and at sensible prices. I will be back with another group, soon. Ciao."

"That foccaccia was remarkably pillowy and flavourful, such a worth it item. Loved the flavoured ricotta with the Melanzane Napolitano, the eggplant itself though crispy as advertised was actually a little tough. A slightly more tender eggplant would have been perfection. All the food was definitely good, no bad items at all. I had salmon, the plating on 3/4 of the plate a little strange, if the skin were crispy then I would have eaten it, but overall very, very good food. Service was friendly and helpful, the volume was little high for my liking at least in the early part of the evening, and the washroom needed some attention (no soap in one dispenser, broken doors, wet floors by every toilet)."

"I really wanted this to be a good restaurant, since they are very new. We had the Pork & Leek Dumpling (114), and Shredded Pork & Preserved Radish Noodle. (136) Both were not good. The dumpling flavour was not as good as grocery frozen dumplings. The dumpling was sloppy and just did not look like a restaurant grade. The noodle dish was not much better. The restaurant was 3/4 empty and yet the servers seemed to be more interested in talking to themselves. I know in a Chinese restaurant it's normal to flag down the servers but they were really not paying attention. As I left I noticed the other tables had left 3/4 of their food, and did not even want to bring it home. Maybe that's a coincidence but along with my simple order I felt they were not very good. Maybe this review will wake them up to realize they need to do better? The one dumpling I was hoping for, they did not even offer it, but now I think it would have been beyond them: Xiao Long Bao. I don't think there is an English name for it... It's the delicate dumpling with some hot soup in the middle with a little meat ball in the middle."

"The best jerk yet. I went to this place for lunch for the first time with a friend who is a regular. hands down the best jerk i have had in years. comes in bone in and bone less variety. i actually ordered the goat curry boneless rice and peas with a side of jerk leg. everything is amazingly flavoured. place was busy and customers kept coming in and out for a location that is basic at best. goes to show people will go anywhere for good food. 8.5/10 for sure."

"We come here at least once s month for their specialty Korean. We loved their pork bone soup and the big dumplings. Their spicy seafood noodle is one of my favorite dish. Also their famous seafood pancake is out of this world."
