"Came here the night before Edinburgh marathon after panicking that we hadn’t booked anywhere. Can’t believe they weren’t fully booked it’s a lovely small traditional feeling restaurant, really friendly and the food was delicious. Only a couple of options for me as a venue but I had the waitress’s recommendation and it was perfect."

"A nice restaurant with a nice staff. The place has a genuine traditional Italian feeling with atmosphere, food and drink. The smell when you go is of amazing Italian food. Lunch is incredibly valuable and comes with first-class food. Drinks are very expensive and the waiter was nice. The food came out quickly and was a great temperature. We'll be back soon."

"This was a super little find which I can across on a walking tour in Edinburgh called ‘a wee taste of Edinburgh. Such a lovely family run business and great fresh products. Little seating area for you to sit in and have a coffee which I prefer to look after small local business rather than the big chains. Owner took the time to go over the history of the shop and how they came to owning it which was a lovely touch. Black pudding scotch eggs are unreal .... everyone must try these."

"Food and service were both excellent! we had the minene and butternut syrups, tomato-Focaccia and the rigatoni alla norma. all were freshly tasted and clear homemade. michael and samuel (our waiter) were both charming and attentive and have added our culinary experience to our definitiw. they even divided the pasta into two dishes for us, as we have in common what we have really appreciated! the only disappointing part was the desserts (tiramisu and cheesecakes) who do not live until the rest of the meal. overall the meal was but delicious and we will definitely be back!"
