"Wow! I had a superb meal at Le Supreme last night, One I won't soon forget. As hunting season has begun in France, I ordered the seasonal game prix fixe menu and was blown away by each course. The wine list is short but studded...with some real winners, all priced fairly. I went with the 2014 Cornas Vieilles Vignes from Alain Voge (90 Euros and it's sold at $75 in the US), a terrific bottle. The first course was a mallard and partridge Pate en Croute with an assortment of fall vegetables that tasted slightly pickled. A real winner due to texture, flavor, and seasoning! When an opening course is that well-executed I typically get worried that it's all downhill from there... but that was certainly not the case! The second course was a magnificent Scottish Grouse cooked to perfection with red cabbage, grapes, and cranberries with a creamy parsnip puree. Just marvelous! The third course was the piece de resistance, a Lievre a la Royale (wild hare served with foie gras). The chef had the stewed hare meat on the bottom of the plate, coated with a delicate sauce of Jerusalem artichokes, this covered with a thick slice of perfectly sauteed foie gras, the sauce with black truffles served on the side. Packed with flavor, as luxurious as can be, a real home run! Not being a souffle fan I backed out of the planned Grand Marnier Souffle with vanilla ice cream and went with a fabulous dacquoise of chestnuts and clementines, a perfect finish to a grand evening. My thanks to Chefs Gregory Stawowy and Yun Young Lee for an extraordinary meal. Is there another example of a married couple cooking together and reaching these heights?"

"Really good food, excellent bread, fantastic cheese cart. Service was very slow, even for a fine dining restaurant. Server was professional and skilled but not attentive. Menu in English and staff speaking the language was a very nice touch for my Foreign friends. One of the best restaurant in the city and with an amazing history."
