"This is a chalet in a beautiful setting. You can eat indoors or outdoors. Don't be in a hurry either way. Service is professional but the place is full to bursting from noon until 1430h.If you get there late and it isn't too cold: try the outdoor cafe which will serve you quickly and get you back on the hill.There was a 10% discount for early lunches: 1100h until 1130h, I think.Staples of mountain food were all tasty -- huge plates heaped high with food.The usual hot and cold drinks are all available.I like this place, but it's hard to get a table."

"Having a quick look around town at menus, we found this restaurant to be the best for a quick, simple meal. The prices were very good for a ski town and the meal we great. There was a good selection of cheese/fondue for the winter tourists, as well as varied meals. My chicken tikka masala was great and my wife's salmon was also delicious - just slightly over done. The service was extremely friendly and quick, and very relaxed and welcoming. Not really a romantic restaurant, but luckily not something we were looking for this time. It was a generally nice, clean semi-chic atmosphere. There was a nice terrace, but with the rain we stayed inside."

"I found Mont Rouge to be trying very hard to earn 5 stars but just can’t get over the line. Like other reviewers have said, the service starts off great but wains as the night wears on (eg: we asked for more water 3 times...before it came). The food is cooked very well but the accompaniments to my meal (deer) was just bland. The “specialty” being apple baked in pork blood was bland at best.... been there, done that and probably don’t need to do it again..."

"For a first visit to this restaurant, excellent welcome by the boss as by the young waitress, welcoming setting one feels very comfortable, oven to the wood fire to taste good pizza, other tasty dishes, strawberries from the region offered with the coffee, correct prices, to recommend if you want to spend a good time with friends, the week, there is a flat formula of the day, to discover, it is worth it elsewhere,"
