"I saw that the plough recommended on local social media, so decided to try it with my wife. we are very happy. nice eating in a beautiful environment and very friendly and friendly staff. it is not exactly cheap, but as they say they get what they pay, and I thought the quality and the amount of food was worth the price paid. I can see that this place to our local, although we live 10 miles away, it is worth the ride."

"We came across this little gem today. We stopped in for a light lunch and sat out front. It’s a charming proper country pub. We decided to order 4 starters to share. They came fairly promptly and we were very impressed with the presentation and the flavours were great. Pictures uploaded. We would highly recommend this fabulous establishment and will be returning."

"Yet another great evening meal at the Harts Head Hotel in Giggleswick. We would highly recommend the fish and chips and the steak it was cooked to perfection. Special thank you Graham the chef, Faye, Joey, Harry, and Michelle for their excellent service. The restaurant is set out very well so you don't feel you are crammed in which we have found in other restaurants. If you are on holiday and looking for your lunch or dinner please try the Harts Head bar or restaurant you will not be disappointed. Martin and Martin Langcliffe Park."

"Visited again, but they were not as good this time, slightly overcooked fish. However the piece of fish was a thick piece and the chips were lovely. Strange way of handling cash......using a plastic tub, for customer to deposit in, but then instantly moving it by hand from this tub to the till?"

"Visited this cafe whilst holidaying on the nearby canal. Enjoyed a great coffee, huge pot of tea, plus cakes. All were lovely. A very low tech but charming type of place with friendly service. Sat outside under a covered pergola which was nicely sheltered. Other seating at the roadside and in the garden, but didn’t really experience the inside. Would recommend searching this place out."

"Went with friends and family. The food is standard, nothing amazing. Wait for drinks is a long time. We waited half an hour after ordering drinks before they arrived. Staff are friendly enough. Wouldn’t rush back!"

"Whilst staying in a holiday cottage a few hundred yards from The Craven Arms we spent a number of evenings in the pub. We were on holiday with our dog so we stayed in the bar area where dogs are permitted and we were able to eat. The restaurant area does not permit dogs. The selection of ales was good and the choice of food was enough for us to be able to vary our selection on each visit. The menu on a Sunday is different from that during the week. They also have a weekly special to go with the standard menu. Service was quick and friendly. The food was of a good standard and the cost very reasonable. The atmosphere was friendly with a number of locals coming in for drinks, or having something to eat always a good sign. The bar area is busy but not crowded, and dogs are made to feel welcome. My wife and I would recommend The Craven Arms, just make sure you book or be prepared to be served food as it can get quite busy."
