Nice concise menu. My wife had the Satay Skewers to start with. They came served on a nice bed of mixed salad. I had the Belly Pork with apple sauce, black pudding and a celeriac remoulade. The pork was unctuous and had proper crackling and lovely apple sauce. We both had the steak and ale pie and what a pie it was. Really friendly and good quality service serving excellent value food from a well balanced menu. Very much enjoyed a relaxed dinner.

"I recently did the Yorkshire 3 peak challenge with a group of group of nine friends, we booked rooms for the night, dinner and breakfast and could not have been happier with the service we received, we were greeted on arrival by very pleasant staff that were more than welcoming, taken to our rooms that were really cozy, clean and the beds were so comfy I had the best nights sleep, all the staff were amazing me and all my friends were really over the moon with everything this hotel provided, the food was absolutely amazing really tasty well cooked hearty food, just what we needed after a long day walking, I will definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice break away stay with some lovely food and great service, I will definitely be back, thanks again guys"
