"I returned with my family for a Sunday Carvery after a break of several months. On arrival we were invited to buy drinks and told that our table was ready for us. The drinks were reasonably priced and served with a smile. We had a variety of meats from the carvery and all were perfectly cooked. I like my beef with a trace of pink so was not disappointed along with a piece of crackling which was readily added to my plate. I also like mash with my carvery and was very pleased to see that it was on offer along with at least 6 other veggies, roasties and Yorkshire puddings. My meat was very tender, as were all so we were more than happy with our Sunday Lunch. Only wish I had room for one of their very tasty desserts but I did not"

"This was our favourite place for kebabs. The rice was to die for. Food beautifully cooked. Fresh and clean. But now. Not at all. We have just had the worst ever food from them. I don’t know if they have new owners or a new chef but OMG. Absolutely awful. There has been a slow decline over the past few months and we stopped going there.(Food cold when arrived for home delivery, items missing) Hoping it would get better. And it has not. In fact it is actually worse. The chicken was not totally cooked through and some pieces were tough. The rice sticky and tasteless. We were all just so disappointed. We will not have food from there again and will no longer recommend to friends and neighbours. Which we did before. So disappointed"

"Visited at 6.00pm when pub wasn't busy. The starter I had was garlic mushrooms which were disappointing. The batter surrounding the mushrooms was hard and difficult to cut with knife and inside was some liquid and mushy mushroom not my expectation! Not sure if they...had been cooked from frozen?? On the other hand my chicken curry based dish was great and my partners minced steak and onion with onion gravy and chips was lovely and appertising. Many types of pie are on offer with choice of gravy and choices of mash or chips. Would recommend both dishes. Publican came over to chat to us which was a nice gesture. Pub got very busy for a Thursday so would recommend booking. Will visit again when in area. Note.. Dog friendly (on a lead) difinitely a plus for us next time. Staff were generally friendly."
