"A wonderful, real pub. Lovely landlady and staff. Friendly clientele. Went way and beyond in kindness when we were let down by a previous booking in another venue. Great real ale and lovely lamb shank dinner. Looking forward to returning to enjoy the open fire and Old Peculiar. Thank you all for a lovely time."

"Awful. The kung po prawns were tinned mushrooms. Didnt taste of kung po was just a soy sauce flavour salty. The sweet and sour sauce were sweet and bitter almost like it were made with orange peel. The chow mein noodles were too bittery. I took a gamble and i should have listened to the other reviews."
