"An excellent visit here all round. I chose it out of the Good Beer Guide. Lovely built art-deco design large road-house, with large rooms inside, old fashioned cloakrooms and toilets. Clean and tidy. Sam Smith's real ale a just a pint ..I haven't paid that amount since about ! and a good bar meal of real hot pork pie, chips, peas and gravy. Friendly and helpful bar-staff, well-run establishment. Male dominated customers on a Saturday, due to football match closeby. Highly recommended for lunch. Separate dining room for children. Massive car-park. Restricted menu on a Saturday of choice, but larger choice on weekdays and when the local football team are NOT playing at home."

"First visit after a recommendation. on Saturday evening with friends after the recommendation. the food was delicious and well cooked we had the gammon, jäger huhn, blue burger and the huh and the braut. all were good portions and all thought they were delicious. The...menu has a good choice that made the choice difficult, as we all wanted several of the articles. our solution for this dilemma is to return so that we can work our way through the menu. worth a visit."

"The tavern is a hive of activity, food to die for, dogs welcome, breakfast provided (with an option of packed lunch as an alternative) packed lunches were fabulous. The accommodation is in a different building which has been purposely built. The rooms are a good size with drink making facilities and a fridge. The whole setup is brilliant and the staff are 2nd to none. A thoroughly enjoyable 5 days."

"It may sound small, but I felt her business as if I had been cut off! I have bought two castors, which are clearly marked as price for each price for the tow. I asked to heat them and was charged to everyone. I was informed. that it was because they have to calculate the VAT when heated. I deny it, but when I checked it, they were absolutely right. I didn't feel cheated anymore, that's until I thought about it, then I even felt cheated. I would like to explain them how, something sold for pence can charge an appeal against pence multivalue tax. above all, as the government has introduced a reduced subsidised multi-value tax due to kovid. this is far above the summit, also at standard MwSt prices, and should not be set into account. more, if they put extra on their heated takeaway food, then a message up to this effect. in short, what I expected to pay was x but ended paying as I said I will not go back and am sure that they do not miss mine"
