"This place is just off the major roads leading in/out of Seaside, my family very much strongly recommend your family to just head in for what will surely be one of the best little home town meals one can ever enjoy eating, plus the staff is so very pleasant. You can bet for sure that the next time my family is in Seaside we most likely will have 75% of all our meals there at Riley's"

"We drove to the coast and were looking for a breakfast stop. I would never have been, but my husband ate back in the early 80s. It wasn't too busy when we showed up, but before we left, it had received more customers. Our waitress was welcoming, fast and efficient. We ordered drinks and meals immediately. I ordered my way to Eggs Benedict, my husband ordered Biscuits Gravy, and my teenage daughter ordered a "pancake" who was smart because it's humiliated! I loved that Ei Benedict had a thick slice of ham crispy English muffin... The side of the bacon was disgusting. Hands down, though my husband was cookies. The Gravy had the best taste I ever had Biscuit was crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. I would recommend stopping here if you lower Hwy 26 Westbound. We enjoyed it more than Camp 18, which we visited a lot. Give him a shot"

"Delivery was quick and awesome! My dasher was amazing. As far as the food goes, this is the second chance Ive given this place and the food is pretty bad, like very pretty bad. This last time, I got a plain hamburger and fries. Not sure how one messes that up but somehow they did. The burger was waaayyy overcooked and difficult to chew. Fries were still partially frozen with no flavor not really even salted. Save your money, drive through McDonalds. Trust me on this."

"Good local breakfast spot. Portions are generous, the food is scratch-made. Their pancakes are the size of dinner plates, so be hungry! I had the corned beef hash, two eggs and two biscuits with sausage gravy, and took home half of my plate. Also had a hankering for a waffle, so ordered one with strawberries and whipped cream. Again, took home half of it. The biscuits are dense, not light and fluffy and the sausage gravy is not the Southern sausage/pepper style but is spiced differently; I'm guessing thyme and parsley among other spices. The gravy had sausage in it, but wasn't sausage flavored so it didn't hit that sweet spot that I was looking for. The waffle was also more dense rather than light and airy. Both the biscuits and waffle were tasty, the textures were just denser but that didn't affect the yum factor much. I would order them both again, but now I know to expect the style to be uniquely Grandma's. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit spendy, but the portions are large, so that evens things out. Give them a try. They are always parked up; Grandma's is a local favorite!"

"Firehouse was great for portions and service. Our waiter was excellent, friendly and ready with suggestions. The food was good too. The biscuits were good and better with butter. My ABCTS omelette was flavorful and had plenty of cheese but was light on avocado. The sweet roll was one of the biggest I?ve ever seen. My daughter?s breakfast burrito was indeed grande and she liked it too. My wife?s light breakfast fit the bill for her and was tasty too. Atmosphere was quaint and well done with historical snippets and photos all around. Very good. I?d come back if we ever come back to Seaside."

"This place has a special place in my heart. I have a lot of family. The food is hit and miss; sometimes it's great, sometimes I have to send it back. Staff understand. They are also friendly and good servers. You get really big portions. I love the beef stew with corn bread. Today we had the cookies and Gravy combination, unfortunately it was unpleasant. I'll try again next time. The property has some really cool old looking tools and devices. Large display of Logging Tractors Pullies and etc. Also a touching monument for fallen loggings."
