This restaurant is a decent breakfast spot. I would possibly come back, but only if I had limited options to explore. As someone who travels extensively and tries different places, I can be quite critical. The best chicken and waffles I’ve had were in Portland, Oregon, so these didn’t quite measure up. However, one big reason I would consider returning is that I saw a chicken club sandwich that looked incredible. Ove... View all feedback.
What Alyssa Burke doesn't like about The Butter House:
The shrimp and grits were so bland that I ended up sending them back and chose not to order anything else. The plate was greasy and had a layer of dust that was noticeable enough to swipe away with my finger. In town for business trip and stopped in for breakfast. Great menu selection and decided on lemon curd with blueberry pancakes. Pancakes full of blueberries and lemon curd added nice zing. Definitely want to stop back in to try adobo pork belly fried rice dish! Great service....
Breakfast was great! A perfect little spot. They are also open early compared to everywhere else. So it worked out
This place is busy for a good reason. The food is really good!!! People pack it in, so you know it's good!! Definitely recommend this place to get a good start to your day. Oh yes, and you have to try the orange juice. It's so fresh that it's like they literally just took the oranges off the tree and squeezed the juice just for your glass!!
We love this place!! The food was fantastic and the service was great also!! The coffee was also really good! We can't wait to go back!!
Such a gem! We were visiting my son at DLI and his friend recommended it. 10/10! My children had the chocolate banana bread French toast (I may have stolen some, unbelievably good), my husband had biscuits gravy (loved it) and I got the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was ok, but still delicious. Take time to go, you won't regret it!
