"A British tradition is to have a roast beef with Yorkshire pudding on Sunday. Since we don't have carveries here The Diner is your destination for a proper English dinner. We started with a bowl of homemade mulligatawny soup. Then a good portion of roast beef, fresh vegetables and a proper four inch tall Yorkshire pudding. Then a piece of apple pie with cheese slice. For that England feel without the cost of a airfare give The Diner a try. They also serve English style black pudding with a full English Breakfast.<br/ <br/ Went back again but this time had the 6 oz sirloin steak. Done just right with a pile of fried onions and mushrooms on top. The roasted potatoes were done the English way. Nice and crispy on the outside and just perfect inside. Big pile of carrots, cauliflower, also added a Yorkshire with gravy. Still one of my favourite destination for that British meal."

"There for happy hour and service was good as was the ambience. If it wasn't for happy hour pricing of 50% off, the price for the quantity would have been unacceptable, eg $9 for 7 olives and the charcuterie board at $18 was skimpy with one type of unidentified thinly sliced sausage, thinly sliced cheese (Gouda?) and a small piece of blue cheese with 3 olives. At least the server brought some more bread. The happy hour price for wine or beer was good.It had been recommended to us but I can't recommend it."

"The Whitespot at Park Royal gets top ratings. I have been here a few times now and the service and food are consistently excellent. It’s rare that a place offers both excellent service, great tasting coffee and good breakfast selection. The sound level is also pleasant not too loud and soft acoustics so you can actually hear what your friends are saying. As an aside, I saw the staff polishing the cutlery! For a solid breakfast dining experience I highly recommend this Whitespot."
