"What an absolutely amazing meal we have had this afternoon for my belated birthday , the team are amazing all helping each other, we were first seated inside and asked to sit outside, this was accommodated with no problem, you were all fabulous, I can’t fault anything, superb food fantastic service, I would highly recommend, we will be back soon, thank you for making today so memorable."

"This is the best roast I have had by far. It came with 5 different meats and all of the trimmings! What more could you want? I am very very impressed and highly satisfied. The whole evening has been outstanding from start to finish. The roast was the perfect sized portion with 5 roasties and a huge range of vegetables including Cauliflower cheese my favourite! So much effort, thought and passion went into each component and you could tell. Cute atmosphere with lovely decor. Staff were welcoming, friendly with excellent customer service. I cannot wait to revisited and highly recommend to everyone."

"Nice food. Wraps were tasty and chicken was grilled to a good standard. Peri peri chips were also tasty. However need to pay 49p for sauce and the grilled chicken was slightly too salty for my liking. Overall I had a pleasant experience however."

"Have been going here for so many years for family gatherings. The food is always at the top end, service is always great. They are also very, very accommodating for anyone with additional needs, so much so my autistic niece hasn't even got to speak any more to order her own food. The whole unit is always spotless."

"Met here for lunch with 3 friends on a Sat afternoon. Lovely service, great menu choice and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend. Didn't feel rushed at all and we were there almost 3 hours."

"Now I love a fish pie and the one at the village is one of the best, exactly how I like it….lots of fish, prawns and scrummy cheesy sauce We walked in early Tuesday evening in Feb without a reservation so not surprised to...find it was quite but still a nice friendly atmosphere and the lamp chops we saw going to one of the other tables also looked good."

"As regulars this hotel for Christmas dinner we thought we would receive similar professional services to other years. something for the start. After sitting we asked for drinks menu to order wein and bubbly for our table. we were told we were going to cash for all drinks. this led to a meeting at the bar, which was difficult, with the social balance we did not go back even though we had bought more. eating was acceptable, service of eating was extremely poor staff standing around the circumference looking and seemed to wait for the last person in the room to finish eating before they delete any tables. this routine went through so that more than half of the guests left before serving coffee and mint cake, we left without coffee and mint cake served. we would need a revolt service to significantly improve before we look at the continental for our Christmas dinner. not worthless for money."
