I have to say a HUGE Thank you to the Staff for helping me and my family out last night, All “19” of us ! We had booked up in a different Restaurant 2 weeks previously to arrive and be told they had no record of r booking …. What User doesn't like about The New Lanterns:
When I order a roast...I want sweet, dark, roasted carrots, parsnips and crisp roasties coated in meat juices from the roasting tray. I want stuffing and maybe some kale sautéed in garlic butter with fresh ground pepper and most importantly some nice browned roasted meat with herbs. What I got was machine sliced wafer thin boiled beef, boiled veg, boiled veg turned into watery mash, boiled/steamed kale, some roasties... View all feedback.
The food was superb and great value for money. The service was good, especially as it was busy!
I wanted to eat Greek this day. it took a while until the waiting workers could see us in the load that almost wanted to leave us, but once they saw us service...
