"My Husband and I had dinner at Mettawas, to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious and servings are generous. I had the lamb rack which easily could be shared (and I did!) while my Husband chose chicken parmigiana. Both were served with green beans and potatoes. These mains include a soup or green salad, starter, though we paid an extra $4 to have the French onion soup (- surprised that supplement is so high, as there's only $2 difference between it and other soups if chosen from the menu). I don't know why there are no prices shown for cocktails or beers, on the wine/alcohol list, but wine seems quite expensive. Our Server, Lyndsey, was patient with our many questions about the menu and checked regularly that all was satisfactory. We were surprised that the restaurant wasn't very busy, but were advised to book for weekends. The kitchen closes at 8pm on weekdays and 9pm on Saturdays and is closed on Mondays. We are visitors to Kingsville and this is definitely the best food and service we've had so far. Would we go back? -- Definitely!"

The menu is small, but everything is made from scratch daily, using fresh, local ingredients.I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ol' Girls Kitchen, and I was very impressed with the food. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak, which was perfectly cooked and juicy. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, and the green beans were tender and seasoned perfectly.For my main course, I ordered the grilled chicken salad, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the salad was full of fresh vegetables. The dressing was homemade, and it was the perfect blend of creamy and tangy.The service at Ol' Girls Kitchen was excellent. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and they made sure that my meal was perfect.The atmosphere at Ol' Girls Kitchen is warm and inviting.
