"I was truly impressed with our visit today. The food and the staff were excellent. We had the two meat plates with burnt ends fried pickles, baked beans, and fries. The burnt ends were the best we have ever had. They were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The young lady at the counter named Shy was truly what made our day. Not only did she have excellent customer service skills but she also asked us how the food was on the way out the door. That is so rare these days, it really made our day. Thank you for being the best BBQ place around town and in Kansas"

"If I could have given zero stars I would have. This place is just disgusting. My husband and I ordered the KC strip steak entree (medium rare) with a chicken noodle soup as a side. The soup comes out COLD. No biggie we just trade it out for a salad. Our steaks come out and they are rock hard and dry (EXTRA WELL DONE). Waiter agrees and sends it back and we get a completely RAW STEAK! Crazy part is my husband said that would happen. We ended up just leaving the plates there and going somewhere else to eat. I definitely would not recommend. The staff was also super rude and inconsiderate about the overall situation. For the price point, it’s definitely not appetizing. I would have rather had golden coral, AND I HATE that place !"

"This place should be closed! I ordered the chicken/ ribs family meal online, plus other sides and dessert- $80. When I arrived at the restaurant and called for my curbside pickup, I was told that they had no chicken or ribs. They had no one on site to refund my money but they could give me what they had. They gave me 2 pieces of fried chicken and 4 slices of their prison meatloaf. I was missing 3 family size sides because they had no more food- this was at 7 and they supposedly close at 9. When I told them that this was ridiculous, they took my name and number and told me that the manager would get back to me the next day with some sort of reimbursement. It is now 2 weeks later and I 'm still waiting for a call. They should have called me to tell me that they had no food and cancel my online order . This was a total waste of money and time! I will never go back!"

"The food was good, the well-done steak could have been cooked or seared on the outside, and the med-well was fine and easy to eat. When I asked if there were utensils yes they are there, BUT not, I had to go back to get them. They said they don't have napkins but we're given cocktail ones. Stuff little on the cold side, but not the Chili.Parking: Packed parking"

"The service is rather slow but otherwise very good. Our drinks stayed full while we waited for our food. The atmosphere is low-key with trendy foods and drinks, as well as tried and true faves. Parking is surprisingly easy as they are right across from the garage on New Hampshire. Definitely recommend."
